Subject: ERIC SARDINAS 2-13-04 REVIEW

Just back from the show, photos will arrive tomorrow!!!! Wow!! I attended the show with my great friends Bob Farr & Crystal Martinson!! The band came on at 9:30 blazing through set regulars Imperial Strut, You Don't Love Me, I'm Worried, The Girl I've Been Loving, Get Along Rider, I Can't Be Satisfied, Come On In My Kitchen, Dupke's Bonham-esque drum solo, Down In The Bottom {complete w/ an appearance from Mr. Bud Weiser!!}, and the finale of Treat Me Right!! There were obviously a few tunes I just don't know [the titles of] but were KILLER nonetheless!!! The band was as tight as ever and louder than ever!!! My ears are still ringing!! Between sets I had a chance to catch up with Mike Dupke as well as show all the guys my new Eric Sardinas tattoo, which everyone was impressed with to the extent Eric demanded pics be taken of it. It is still a work in progress, having already spent 3 1/2 hours in "the chair." I can't wait to finish it up before the guys' next show here in Kansas! The artwork was done by Art @ Fantasy Graphics in Hays Kansas {107 West 6th, Hays Kansas, 67601 & 785-625-2626}!! Can't wait for the next show… off to bed then up to get all the pictures sent in before Tammy sends the National Guard after me!!! Once again, MANY THANKS to Eric, Paul, and especially Mike for being as gracious as ever; and to my friends Bob & Crystal for accompanying me to the show, and for all their friendship during the last crazy {slight understatement!!} six months!!

Cheers,

Justin Crafton

[The National Guard? I hardly think so… I would never send an army to do a Diva's job!]

*In order to offer as comprehensive a discography as is practicable, information regarding unofficial live recordings is presented on this site for educational purposes only. I cannot personally vouch for its accuracy or completeness. I do not collect nor can I provide unofficial live Eric Sardinas recordings. [Ugh… How long do I have to keep putting asterisks and disclaimers on this stuff?!]

Dear friend,

I'm Juanmi from Alicante (Spain) and I'm a big fan of Eric Sardinas. Congratulations for your fantastic website of Eric, I've been always searching for a good fan site and yours is very very good.

I've seen him live 5 times (3 with Steve Vai and 2 performing alone, in Benidorm and in San Javier). I've got 44 pictures from the Benidorm show July 7, 2003 (I send you one picture from this concert)… ---------->

…I will send you all pictures from the Benidorm show. ok? what you think?

Thanks very much. I'll be waiting for your answer desperately.

Webmistress >> about last night >> a fire inside

Since my favorite live show is on the road (1500 miles away), I finally went to see AFI live for the first time, last night at The House of Blues Hollywood. I can't recommend this band highly enough! Talk about an intense live show! Talk about crazy fans! (I only lasted three songs in the pit, then I had to achieve minimum safe distance from all the bone-crunching that was going on!) If you're not at all familiar with AFI, go HERE and watch "Silver and Cold" and "The Leaving Song" from their most recent release Sing the Sorrow. The album kicks; the live show kicks. So… If you like it hard and fast, dark and heavy, go getcha some o' that!

AFI: And they fly, too!
