live concert pictures >> internal galleries

You might have wondered whether or not, under the recent circumstances, I bothered to attend any of the band's recent Southern California gigs. O ye of little faith, of course I did! I mean, seriously… What kind of Diva would I be if I let a few silly corporate drones throw off my groove? Go I did to all four shows, and pictures did I take at three of them… lots and lots of pictures. [If the gods hadn't meant us to take ridiculous numbers of live concert pics, they wouldn't have invented 128MB Secure Digital Cards… Or something like that.] Click below to view the latest galleries, and get a load of Eric's new hat, Paul's new bass, Mike's most recent foray into toplessness [a modest proposal: plexiglass drums!]... and the debut of The Dancing Sardinistas, live onstage:

The Sounds >> bootography*

Internet research has unearthed information about three more unofficial live recordings, which have been added to the bootography*:

live >> 10-25-99 >> ogden theater >> denver, colorado

live >> 04-10-00 >> sala kongresowa >> warsaw, poland

live >> 07-05-03 >> vi san javier internacional jazz festival >> murcia, spain

*In order to offer as comprehensive a discography as is practicable, information regarding unofficial live recordings is presented on this site for educational purposes only. I cannot personally vouch for its accuracy or completeness. I do not collect nor can I provide unofficial live Eric Sardinas recordings. (I also obey the speed limit, eat my vegetables, and refrain from running with scissors.)

Webmistress >> adaptation

It's been a while since we last spoke. If you've been checking in on the site and allowing my server to redirect you, you've probably already figured out why the site went offline (you're smart like that). The demanded site changes have been made (under duress) and uploaded (with a great deal of swearing, and the placing of several potent voodoo hexes). That's all I have to say on the subject in this particular forum… other than I damn well better be a big winner on February 29th. I deserve it.

The Band >> press & media >> guitar player >> march 2004 >> slash & burn: a slammin' slide lesson with eric sardinas

EXCERPT: …blues lovers young and old have gathered to witness another side of this music's ongoing evolution, as Sardinas drags timeless Delta riffs through the blast furnace of amped-up rock and roll. It's an amazing sight. Armed exclusively with a twangy 6-string resonator -- an instrument most audience members associate with the likes of Son House -- and accompanied by a pumping drums-and-bass rhythm section, the lanky, tattooed, 6'2" showman delivers a fast-paced set of adrenaline-drenched blues… [Read the article and view scans HERE.]

Oh god, here we go! Tomorrow marks the start of the 2004 US Tour [not counting SoCali, because home doesn't count]! It's pony-up-the-goods time again, and here's what I need from you lucky Sardinas fans out there in the heartland:

Please Write Me a Few Lines, and tell me what shows you plan to attend, and what documentary evidence you hope to return with (show reviews, live pictures, The Money Shots, autographs, restraining orders, illegitimate offspring, etc.). RP has been online for over six months now, so I know you're out there. You've been coming here for your regular Sardinas fix, which I lovingly provide… Now it's your turn to hook me up. Email me and commit!
